I am a Midwestern author who writes comfort reads meant to lift the spirit. I wander hiking trails and neighborhoods, rely on my library card, wear sunglasses even on cloudy days, and remain a wishful gardener. I hope my stories can be links that ease and untangle life.

I’ve nested in North Dakota near prairie and pasture, and I remain an admirer of both open plains and distant mountains.

My latest novel, Leaving Ordinary, is available for purchase. It is a historical story set in the Midwest of the 1930s. Coming in Spring 2026 is another Bonetrail series novel titled Repairing Seams. In this book we learn more of Geraldine’s story and spend time once again with Louise and Leo.
